Webex Interact offers multiple ways to upload contacts, making it easy to add and manage customer data efficiently. You can upload a file, paste numbers, or paste contacts with additional details.
Upload CSV or XLSX file
- Go to Contacts > Upload in Webex Interact. 
- Select your file and upload it. 
- Map contact fields - Match your file columns to existing fields (e.g., First Name, Last Name). 
 - Create custom fields if needed.
- Process duplicates - Choose how to handle duplicates (merge, skip, or import as is). 
- Click Upload to start processing. 
- You will receive a confirmation email once the upload is complete. 
You can use your Interact account normally while your upload is in progress in the background. We will send a confirmation via email after the upload has been completed.
Paste numbers
Go to Contacts > Paste numbers
- Enter phone numbers manually, one per line. 
Review & upload
- The system automatically removes duplicate numbers. 
- Click Upload to process and save the contacts. 
Paste contacts with additional fields
Go to Contacts > Paste contacts
- Paste contacts, including additional fields (e.g., John | Schh | [email protected] | +447735736914 ). 
- Separate fields using comma (,), semicolon (;), or pipe (|). 
Map & upload
- Map contact details to existing fields or create new custom fields. 
- Choose how to handle duplicate data before uploading.
