Teammates are users within an account who handle specific tasks to improve collaboration and streamline operations. Share your Webex Interact account with your team by inviting them as teammates. By inviting teammates, you can assign roles and manage access, ensuring each teammate has the appropriate level of permissions.

Invite your teammate

As a business owner, you can log in to your account and invite team members to collaborate. Account Owner or Administrator can invite new teammates (up to 50 users per account) after verifying the account.

πŸ‘Before you invite:

βœ” Log in as an Account Owner or Administrator
βœ” Verify your account

Invite teammates from the Account details>Teammates section on the right, provide the teammate’s business email, and select a roleβ€”Admin or Marketerβ€”that aligns with their responsibilities.

Each account can invite up to 50 users.

Roles and permissions

When inviting teammates, it's important to assign roles, not everyone requires full control. Each role has distinct capabilities. For example, a finance manager handles payments, while a marketer manages campaigns. Assign the right role for each teammate to ensure that every teammate has the right level of access to perform their tasks effectively.

Webex Interact offers three key roles:

  • Owner (Full access) – The account holder with complete control of teammate management, account features, and payments.

  • Administrator – Manage day-to-day operations and oversee teammates, ensuring the team runs smoothly. Access to all platform features, controls, and most pages but can only view billing and purchases.

  • Marketer – Focuses exclusively on marketing tasks such as campaign and list management. Cannot manage teammates, or access payment features,

Teammate onboarding

When a teammate is invited, they receive an email to join your Webex Interact account. Invitations expire after 24 hours, and only Account Owners and Administrators can send or re-send invites.

The invited user must join the team using their business email address and set up a password to activate their account. Once logged in, they can access platform features based on their assigned role.

Manage teammates

Once an invited user logs in, Account owners and administrators can track their status (Invited, Active, or Expired), manage pending invitations, and resend or delete invites. A user is marked as Active after completing the setup process. If the invitation link expires, the status is updated automatically.

Account owners and Administrators can manage teammates to keep the team organized and up to date:

  • View user status – View teammate's statuses such as Invited, Active, or Expired.

  • Edit roles – Update a teammate’s role.

  • Re-send invites – Send a new invitation if the previous one has expired.

  • Transfer account ownership – Change account ownership when needed.
