The sender names can differ based on country/region as each country may have its regulations for various aspects of a message.
For the UK, a sender name can be any of the following:
Up to 11 char Alphanumeric i.e. containing only letters or a combination of letters and numbers.
These sender names can also contain special chars such as space (' '), full stop ('.'), ampersand ('&'), underscore ('_'), and dash/hyphen ('-').
Numeric Sender Name of 12 digits starting with 44 or 11 digits starting with 07 or 08.
Shortcodes of 5 digits starting with 6/7/8.
